Historic Ivermectin Court Victory in Malaysia Has Relevance to All Commonwealth Countries

A landmark Malaysian Appellate Court ruling has effectively overturned their High Court’s dismissal of a lawsuit filed by MAAFIM (Malaysian Association for the Advancement of Functional and Interdisciplinary Medicine), an NGO for qualified medical doctors, during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, which had asked if doctors can dispense an off-patent drug called Ivermectin, in a re-purposed context.

World Council for Health (WCH) Malaysia partner MAAFIM asked the Appellate Court:

“(1) Whether a registered medical practitioner is entitled to dispense Ivermectin as an ingredient to his or her patient under the Poisons Act 1952 read together with the Poison Regulations 1952?

(2) Whether a registered medical practitioner can dispense Ivermectin to his or her patients for the purposes of the medical treatment of such patient only and in compliance with section 19 of the Poisons Act 1952 and the Poison Regulations 1952?”

To both MAAFIM questions, the Appellate Court’s Ruling was: Yes.

The Appellate Court also affirmed that there was no collateral harm for doctors to seek these reliefs in the High Court.

A landmark judgement

With this landmark judgement by the Appellate Court of Malaysia, it is confirmed that qualified doctors in Malaysia are no longer shackled by wrongful interference as occurred during the Covid crisis of the past three years, but are now free to practice medicine as fully as befits their profession and expertise.

The net benefit of this ruling on doctor rights and autonomy to prescribe wider medicines and treatment options for all their patients can only result in more valuable benefits to all people individually and to the larger society as a whole.

The World Council for Health commends and praises the Malaysian Judiciary for being impartial, fair and balanced in this MAAFIM judgement.

It is quite clear from this ruling that the Malaysian Appellate Court has the best interests not only of the brave doctors who had mounted these legal actions but of all the Malaysians at heart.

WCH also congratulates MAAFIM for persevering to obtain this historic and landmark judgement, which is not just a victory for doctors far and wide but for all people seeking a wider set of treatment options that may now be made available to them by the doctor of their choice.

  • Your headline says this ruling is valuable for Commonwealth Countries. The article does not say anything to explain why… What am I missing?

  • I’m a retired medical social worker. My eyes welled up with tears of joy with this great & historic decision. It takes courage on all sides to come this far to stand up for right to practice, right to stand up for truth, justice, love & care for all beings & the right to say NO to nonsense! Kudos & well done!

  • Thanks to friends who helped me see this is gene “therapy”, not a vaccine.
Throat cancer Feb08 effectively controlled “cured” (Waikato Hosp said) by heeding pastor Dug Gibbs & following the Dr Johanna Budwig Protocol. 90%success claimed. Happy to share if asked. Found on Net, saving pastors friend a leg amputation Sept07.

  • Ivermectin crept into a Teen series on Netflix made during 2007-2012 called Gossip Girl. This was in relation to a storyline about cancer treatment where its use was discredited. No surprise there. This series is full of current day situations ie wooden buildings raized to the ground for development, masonic clubs, Noam Chauski, clothes for Kiev, Necker Island etc. I watch it with my 15 year old granddaughter and wonder if it is subliminal, or am I reading too much into it. Apart from that it’s quite light hearted with beautiful clothes.

  • Good news. I wanted to get Ivermectin 3 years ago but even now it is not possible to get in here in the UK & I would need to go online and then I would not necessarily know what I am getting so risky. Can anyone recommend a good place to get it. I have had Covid now but have had ‘Long Covid’for months which has been very debilitating indeed but is less severe now. Sever body weakness, shortness of breath, chest pain, thumping heart for even slightest movement I did. I believe Ivermectin can heal not just Covid but have seen studies showing can prevent/heal cancer & of course the parasitic diseases that some countries are prone to due to weather etc.

    • What I find comical is that IVM for humans is exactly the same drug as IVM for horses etc, (but dose adjusted in line with the body weight of the patient), so its always available at stockfeed suppliers etc. This is why the mass media were able to defame people advocating for IVM as crazy people taking medication for horses. Also if purchasing off the net, IVM is one of the cheapest medications, so it’s probably not really profitable to switch it out with anything else? Have you researched any of the suppliers to see what else they produce? Is there not one supplier on there that you can verify as is to standard?

Hi Marie I have been very ill with Covid for over 18 months so meant to reply to your message earlier about the private Dr in London you got IVM from. Would you please let me have the doctors details? Best Wishes Neve
  • I am afraid of what type of dictatorship Canada is living under. Trudeau and his party are taking away our rights and it is getting worse day by day. We do not live in a free country any more.

  • While this is absolutely marvellous for the Doctors and Patients living in Malaysia I fail to see how this win can be shared by us living here in Australia. Yes it surely sets a legal precedent and should a similar challenge be raised in the Courts here would certainly bode well for supporting a favourable ruling here but please correct me if I’m wrong, but as I currently see it we are still suffering from the draconian rules put upon us from the outset of the pandemic. A friend went to a Doctor saying the restrictions for prescribing Ivermectin have now been lifted (according to a comment recently made by Dr. Peter McCullough) and was refused. Even though he had been overseas and had a blood test confirming the existence of a parasite which under those circumstances would allow any Doctor to prescribe Ivermectin. He changed Doctors and was successful in getting the script. I wonder how his request would have gone if he couldn’t prove he had been infected with a parasite? He was actually more interested in getting it to offset any shedding he may receive from his Partner who had been triple vaxed and need the Ivermectin to form part of a regimen to counter any intrusion of spike from his vaccinated partner.

  • Dear all,

As a former French superior court judge, I congratulate you all for this judicial victory that would benefit millions of futures patients. More is to be done for western countries where regulatory agencies and some politicians have been captured… or bought by the malevolent military/big pharma complex.

In the USA where I am actually living, reasonable people have lost their abilities to analyze and think critically, fear and well-implemented psychological warfare having startled them. As they have lost perspectives, I believe that we should provide them with short and simple comparative studies, so that they would be able to make comparison…again.

    – On vaccine : comparing on the one side children’s health status in the USA, Europe and Asia, and, on the other side, vaccine schedules in each country (i.e: Does more vaccines lead to better / same / worst health status? ) ;

    – On Covid care in hospital : Do other countries… use remdevisir and forced intubation on patients? …disregard patient’s refusal to be administered some treatments? ….refuse to let patients leave hospitals if they feel at risk by abusive medical staff? etc…

By providing lay persons with these comparisons, they will become aware of having been abused and/or misled. They will, hence, realize that other models are available outside their counties, states, country’s propaganda.

In order to mobilize and fight the monarchy, settlers had, first, to know that other models of society existed and were available to them.

    Sincerely

    Frederic Carteron
